Beginning of this year was different than any other year. It brought with it not hope, but sadness, fears, loneliness and feelings of missing our dear ones. And everyone was feeling the same…but then again, for me it also brought inspiration for a new painting, for a new collection. And Nostalgia was the first one. I recalled so many significant experiences, relationships, places, and other bits of the past…and that inspired positive emotions — a sense of meaningfulness or life purpose, social connection, and optimism.
