After the cold, long and dark days of winter, the spring season brings new life and fresh hope to the world. The sun shines, the days get warmer, green shoots and bright flowers peep out from the soil, trees blossom. And the last lockdown was over too, we would be free to see our dear ones again, able to return to a somehow normal life. And all that translated into the colours I used to paint this beautiful lady, hopefully bringing the viewer joy and hope for happy and serene days.
